Dear Friends and Family,

As many of you know, Chris and I have been struggling to grow our family for the past 8 years. Our journey has been an emotional roller coaster. We never imagined it would be this difficult to grow our family. 

In our 8 year journey, we have tried many things- tips I've received from friends and family over the years to having many medicated cycles, including 3 timed cycles, 3 medicated IUIs, 1 surgery, countless doctor visits, tests, blood work, and sadly 1 miscarriage.

Failed treatment after failed treatment was filled with many tears and broken hearts. We have now reached a point in our journey where our best chance at having a baby is to do IVF (In vitro fertilization). Along with the emotional heartache that infertility brings, we’re also facing the financial stress to make our dream come true. The cost for IVF is significant. It will cost us close to $20k. Unfortunately, our insurance does not recognize infertility as a covered benefit. We have already invested thousands of dollars into our journey and we have waited and prayed for a very long time for our dream to come true. Our fertility Doctor is hopeful that IVF will work for us, and even though IVF will not guarantee us a baby we’re not willing to give up just yet.
