Each year the Mayor of Cheltenham raises money to help local charities. My three brilliant charities are:
Young Gloucestershire, a countywide charity that supports young people in Cheltenham who are facing real challenges to have the confidence, motivation and skills to improve their lives. By building relationships with young people and understanding their individual needs YG can begin to empower them to change their futures. www.youngglos.org.uk. Charity number 281797
Art for All Mental Health who support adults in Cheltenham and Gloucestershire through therapeutic creative sessions that help people manage their wellbeing. They offer welcoming, inclusive spaces - both in community venues and through outreach - where participants can connect with others and use creativity to build confidence, reduce isolation, and strengthen their mental health. www.artforallmentalhealth.org.uk. Charity number 1213983
and
ITSA Digital Trust who transform lives through access to and improved use of digital technology. They have already recycled and refurbished 135,000 computers for Africa and the UK while supporting local people and educators to improve skills and confidence in technology and helping children, elderly people, refugees and other local people disadvantaged by lack of IT access or skills. https://itsadigitaltrust.org/ . Charity number 1146157
Donations are made via the Mayor of Cheltenham's Charity through which previous mayors have supported charities as wide-ranging as the local Samaritans, Men in Sheds and Cheltenham Welcomes Refugees. Mayor of Cheltenham's Charity number 1118165. Please support us and change people's lives for the better this year.
Thank you
