Mayo Roscommon pallative care services

Thank you for all those who are reading my story.

My name is Claire and I wish to raise some money on what would be our dear Dad's 80th birthday. Myself and my family want to show our appreciation for the wonderful Mayo Roscommon hospice and the help they gave us.

During our dad's final days, he was able to return to his home, Balla, the village he grew up in and his home where he spent some of his happiest days watching sport, reading his books and listening to his music.

His final two weeks were precious for us as a family and this challenging but memorable days were enabled by the wonderful palliative night nurses.

Without them this would not have happened.

I am running a half marathon in Naples and all the proceeds will go to help the Mayo Roscommon hospice support other families to have a similar positive experience at such a profound and sad time for families.
