Mayo Pride 2024

Since Mayo Pride held its first parade in 2017, we’ve worked tirelessly to promote inclusivity. Rural or urban, we want to ensure that LGBTQ+ people can thrive no matter where they live in Ireland.

But it hasn’t always been easy. We’ve navigated funding hurdles and fought off hard-right attacks, all while wearing high heels and looking flawless.

We do what we do because for LGBTQ+ people in Mayo, this is literally the one time a year when we can get together physically to celebrate who we are.

That’s why we’re asking for your help. Looking this good ain’t cheap. We want to expand the Pride events we offer, run more outreach events for local schools throughout the year, and show up as best we can for Mayo’s fabulous and diverse LGBTQ+ community.
