Not many people know this but I have dealt with chronic illness my whole life. About three years ago it got to the point where I couldn’t live without antibiotics and function. We found an amazing doctor that took six months and cleaned my system through a series of infusions and got me off of anabiotic’s. Now back in the same health situation we are looking at other options. It gets hard to function and I have to miss work at least one day a week. Feeling sick everyday is tiring physically and mentally. Trying to stay hopeful so we are looking at other ways to help me live with my health issues.
Recently discovered I have 6 separate genetic disorders. Since these are genetic there is no cure. All of these deal with methylation and a processing of vitamins. My body does not take food and create vitamins so I get sick with anything and everything I come in contact with. I also don’t detox very well so everything that enters my body stays there. Two or three years ago when we did chemical testing I tested in the 92nd percentile for benzene poisoning. We have no idea where it came from but my body absorbed it right on in and no levels of benzene exposure are considered safe.

Benzene poisoning 92%
6 mercury fillings- 2 removed plus the teeth and surrounding infection
In December we discovered an overgrown bad bacteria in my stomach which has been causing me problems for years. Currently on treatment for that. Had vein surgery last week on both legs due to standing doing hair for 28 years. This week we got labs back that my Epstein Barr has flared up again for which there is no treatment, just rest, all while home sick with whatever it is I have. It’s a constant struggle. My body is at the end of my hairdressing career. My right arm keeps tendentious all the time. Not sure what we are going to do once it gives out.
Right now we are back to the point where we are going to start cleaning my blood again. This entails taking small vials of my blood out and exposing it to Ozone and UV to clean it and then it has to go back into my body through an IV drip. This takes several hours over the course of months. It takes a lot of time and money and isn't covered under our insurance. It’s also only a temporary fix.
We have finally had enough of these piecemeal health diagnosis and treatments. We want to focus on getting my health back to a functioning level. David and I have an appointment at the Mayo Clinic on January 14. Having to close my salon last year for health and finances our bank account is very low. Currently take 28 medications and/or supplements daily plus five injections a week. With everything that we are doing my health has made little improvement and he is unsure if there are anymore undiscovered disorders or if this is my new normal. The only doctor that has been able to help me is not covered by my insurance plan. The cost of the infusions plus all my other health needs are expensive. Our hope is that they can suggest doctors and treatments covered under our insurance back here in Charlotte.
To top it off two weeks ago my car engine died and thats an expense we just didn’t need at this time. We were going to use that money to pay for the Mayo Clinic.
