It's incredibly difficult to share this, especially during the holidays. Our dear friend, sister, and coworker, May Menough, has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer.

Anyone who has come across May knows the light she brings into this world. She is selfless, loving, and endlessly kind. As a chemotherapy-certified pediatric oncology nurse, she has spent years caring for children and families fighting unimaginable battles — never once thinking she would someday face a battle of her own.

In just a matter of weeks, May's life has completely turned upside down. She is preparing for surgery, cancer treatment, and a deeply emotional fertility journey she never expected to confront so young. With everything coming at her at once, the financial weight of treatment, copays, appointments, and future planning has grown overwhelming.

The amount we’re hoping to raise will help support May through her upcoming surgery, months of cancer treatment, fertility preservation costs, and the time off work she now needs as she’s currently unable to work full-time.

We are asking for support on May's behalf, because if you know her, you know she would never ask for herself. We want her to focus on her health, her healing, and the long road ahead — not on financial strain. With these new challenges, she deserves to be supported, and lifted by the community she has so lovingly poured into.
