My name is Greg Williams, and I find myself in the unfortunate position of being in need of assistance. For this to make more sense, some backstory is required.

Back in 2012, Olivia took guardianship of her two little sisters, Katie and Lila, when their mother unexpectedly passed away. Olivia and I moved from our residence at the time to where her brother and sisters lived. Her uncle, Matt, did the same. Olivia, Matt, and I worked together to provide a safe and stable environment for Katie and Lila to grow up in and for us to carve out a life for ourselves. We moved out of that residence and into an apartment for 3 years before moving to the house where we currently rent.

We've been at our current address for about 9 years now, working together to keep the bills and rent paid. Going through the ups and downs of life, we've been relatively successful until recently.

In November of 2023, Matt had to have 3 toes on his right foot amputated due to diabetes. A few months later, the rest of the toes on the right foot. His ongoing battle with bone infections continued, and he lost all of the toes on his left foot in 2024. Aside from the emotional impacts of this, it also meant that he has been in and out of work from late 2023 to the present, causing his paycheck to sporadically be absent.

After the temporary disability expired, Matt had several months of accrued paid time off and sick leave, which was eventually depleted. Co-workers generously donated some of their saved PTO hours, which helped tremendously. His most recent hospital stay kept him from working during the months of May and June. We were miraculously saved in May when Katie suddenly received a letter from her old bank inviting her to claim her stimulus checks she received back in 2020 that she was unable to access during that time.

Matt goes back to work starting July 7th. However, we find ourselves drastically short of July's rent. I humbly ask anyone with the ability to assist, please help if you can. Anything you can donate would provide some much-needed air over our wings, to help us pull out of this dive.
