Maybe’s Fund

Donation protected

Maybe was diagnosed with Lymphoma, in April of 2020 and since then has been receiving incredibly compassionate care from MASH (Metropolitan Animal Specialty Hospital), in Los Angeles, California. Unfortunately her Lymphoma has been resistant to the chemo and cancer drug treatments we’ve tried (lomustine, cyclophosphamide, mustargen, novantrone, etc.) and we are running low on our ability to financially continue treatment, as we have already been relying on our savings and Maybe is running out of time. We’d like to do additional testing like phenotyping, as well as a cardiogram, so that we can better understand her type of Lymphoma and determine a treatment plan that will hopefully bring her into remission. If you know Evan and I personally, you know Maybe is our child and family member.

This all being said, we understand times are uncertain and there are other fundraising efforts that deserve our undivided attention during this time, because BLACK LIVES MATTER. If you have extra to spare, we would be grateful for any help, but understand if your extra has been committed elsewhere, or if you need to conserve.

A Little Background on Maybe...
She was rescued from SEAACA shelter where she was a staff favorite, in 2016 by Central Coast Herders and we adopted Maybe on February 21, 2017. She is a German Shepherd mixed with what we think is Cattle Dog and she LOVES to herd! She has been all over California on dirt road trips, back-country hikes and to many hot springs and swimming holes. She loves her people, her peoples people and is a doggone good dog and best friend! We think she's about 8-10 years old and she was renamed "Maybe" after a beloved Lavender Smiths (SLO) ranch dog.

We are committed to adopting and not shopping, por vida!
