Maybe the worst year ever

Last Thanksgiving my mom was diagnosed with stage 4 uterine cancer. Can you imagine that was just the first Domino?

She had 6 rounds of chemo and surgery... Then she was in remission!!! 

But the chemo made her heart weak.

She fell and broke her ankle pretty bad. She got a cast, of course. She eventually needed surgery but the doctors wanted to wait till her heart was ready. 

Then the cast caused a staph infection in her ankle. Surgery had to be done quickly. They even thought she might lose her leg! So, she had surgery done with an epidural,  since her heart couldn't withstand anistesia. Then the contraption in the photos was put on.

Eventually she will need an additional surgery to insert a rod into her leg.

This all requires a stay in a nursing home.
We are not the type of people to put our business out there. But, we truly need help.
