Hi, my name is Marisa and I am starting this fundraiser for my little sister Maya. Saturday afternoon she was involved in an off-roading accident, the vehicle flipped on her side leaving her with a broken femur and a large laceration to back of her thigh. Last night she went into emergency surgery to fix the broken bone and the artery that was severed during the break. She will end up needing more surgeries over the next few days to flush out wounds and to repair the physical damage that’s left. As of now she is in high spirits and doing good but has a long road of recovery ahead of her. All proceeds will be going towards the medical bills while she’s here at Phoenix Children’s hospital and for any care she will need during the recovery process.
