Cancer Benefit to Support Maya

My name is Karen Shakely and I am reaching out to everyone to help me support Maya Martinez in her time of need. 
A month after being released of her duties at work she was diagnosed with Cancer. This double whammy would take anyone down, but not Maya.  She looks to the Lord to get her through and keep her spirits high.

I do not want money to be a stress factor for her in any way. All monies will help her and her family with many medical bills, house payments, food, etc. She had her first Chemo treatment on April 25th so the bills will start rolling in.

If you know Maya, you know she has always given to anyone at anytime and never ask for a thing. Now I am asking everyone to please give back.
I love Maya like a sister, she is my family. She has done more for me then I deserve. She has always supported me, prayed for me and had my back usually when I didnt even realize it.

We are also having a Benefit at Round Rock Tavern at 113 W. Main St. On Sunday June 5th starting at 1pm
