I am Mindy Talmadge and beautiful little Mayah Pisciotto is 6 years old and, my Granddaughter.
Mayah's mother, Austin, is my daughter. Austin is part of a Youth Ministry team whose passion it is to bring the love of God to Middle Schoolers and Teenagers. Austin does this with all of her heart, day in and day out.
Mayah, the youngest of three, has recently been diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Treatment for this disease is a 2-1/2 year process consisting of monthy Chemotherapy treatments.
The first six months of treatment are the most difficult, the time when this little princess should be able to have her mother by her side.
I'm starting this GoFundMe account in the hopes that the funds raised will enable Austin to take a leave of absence from the ministry to be with Mayah. To give Austin the opportunity to bring Mayah the love of God, day in and day out, during the most difficult phase of this treatment.
I am hoping to raise the funds before Mayah is released from the hospital, which, by the Grace of God, will be in the next 30 days so that the financial stresses of life will be one thing they won't have to think about.
Even if you can't help out financially, we would be ever so thankful for prayers for the healing for Mayah's body.
