Maya's Medical Needs
Donation protected
On Tuesday, June 23rd, Jenny, Maya's mom, went in to check on Maya while she was napping. She found Maya purple and gasping for breath. She quickly called the ambulance and Maya was transferred to Sanford Hospital in Fargo, and from there, she was life-flighted to Sioux Falls, which is about 3 hours away.
Jimmy, Maya's dad, was just laid off from his job due to COVID-19; he'll be laid off for two weeks and then will go back at significantly reduced hours, which is greatly impacting their finances. Since they're staying three hours away from home, they have additional gas and food expenses.
Once Maya is released from the hospital, she will have additional therapies, specialist visits, and possibly additional medical equipment and supplies. All donations will go to help directly with Maya's medical expenses, and transportation costs associated with her multiple doctor and therapist visits.
