Maya's Law School Fund

Hi I am Maya Manus and currently going to Seattle University School of Law. Even with scholarships and student loans, unfortunately, they do not all of my expenses for law school. As I continue on this endeavor, I am asking for my community to extend a hand.
I have had my mind set on being a lawyer since my Freshman year of college and everything I have done since then has been a reflection on my passion to get there. While I was at my undergrad, I studied Political Science Pre Law and Comparative Ethnic Studies, where I began to learn the legal system but through the lens of Critical Race Theory. That sparked my passion to become an advocate for my community and to become a change maker in the system.
After I graduated, I started working at the Urban League of Metropolitan Seattle, which has been my biggest blessing. I have been able to learn my voice and when to stand up for community and how to truly impact lives, daily. Working at the Urban League solidified that I want to be that voice for the voiceless and be there to support our most vulnerable.
And now, I am starting on my path to begin my legal career and learn to become a lawyer. I have applied for scholarships and loans and still due to high demanding costs of tuition, books, and transportation it will not cover the overall leftover expenses that I except in law school. Whether it be $5 to help with school supplies to $200 to help with a textbook, every dollar will mean something to me and continuing my education.
Thank you to anyone who shares or donates, it truly means the world to me.
Hope all is well.
Knowledge is the pathway to Nirvana.
