Our Sweet Husky Mya Needs Torn ACL Surgery
BACKGROUND
Hello everyone and thank you so much for taking the time to learn about our sweet girl, Mya. Mya is a beautiful, loving, energetic, and extremely active 7-year-old Alaskan/Malamute Husky mix. She loves to go for walks with the entire family, play with her best friend King Louie the Chihuahua, and cuddle with Mom and Dad when it’s bedtime.
However, because of all of her energetic activity, during a game of fetch, Mya landed wrong and tore her cranial cruciate ligament, or CCL, which is similar to the ACL in humans. She is definitely in pain and so are we as we bear witness to her limping in her daily struggle just to walk normally.
With a toddler and new baby (and an ailing King Louie), we just don’t have the funds to cover the $6000 surgery estimate. So, we are coming to you, in all humility, and asking for your support.
THANK YOU
If something about our family’s story resonates with you and you find it in your heart to help Mya, we truly, truly thank you. Any amount you are willing to contribute will bring us one step closer to getting Mya her CCL surgery she so desperately needs.
We will keep you updated with every step of Mya’s CCL surgery and then recovery, because that’s exactly what we are believing for! Will you please join us in that belief and help her see full recovery? Again, we thank you so much for your time and consideration for our sweet girl Mya. Have a wonderful day!
Love,
Mya, Her Parents, and Siblings: Greg, Valerie, Christopher, Halen and of course- King Louie
