The world lost a beautiful soul today, Maya Francis. Many of us know her politically active son Niles who has been a tireless volunteer and social activist or her beautiful daughter. Both children shine from the light their mother brought to their lives.

Recently the family suffered a devastating fire and were just beginning to rebuild their lives. Our hearts go out to both children and we have established this fund in honor of Maya to help with upcoming expenses and the future of her kids.
