Help Aayush get a liver and a new life
Donation protected
Hi everyone,
This year, I became a proud dad.

Becoming a dad changes you. Your whole world becomes your child, especially when they are an infant. You are also their whole world. You become protective, not letting any harm come to them. But what are you supposed to do when it is out of your hands?
What are you supposed to do when your child has a life-threatening disease?
My son Ayush was diagnosed with biliary atresia—a rare and life-threatening liver disease when he was just three months old. This tiny life was already at Stage 4 Liver Cirrhosis confirmed by liver biopsy. He also developed anemia and required blood transfusions (in the picture) due to bleeding from blood vessels in his gut, known as esophageal varices, which were detected during an endoscopy. The only cure for him is a liver transplant.
Unfortunately, in Nepal, there are no resources to have pediatric liver transplants, and only blood relatives are allowed to donate the liver. So, I am giving him a part of my liver.
This is a major surgery for both of us, but we are ready to face it. We need to travel to India as soon as possible. We’re in a race against time. The financial burden is far beyond my savings from years of working as a receptionist, a cashier, a teacher, an engineer, and even as a manager. The estimated surgery (23K USD), hospitalization, medicine, and other medical costs would be around 30k USD, excluding other costs associated with travelling and the mandatory requirement to stay in India for at least 3 months.
I am asking for your support to help give my son a second chance at life and help our family in this time of hardship. There is no amount that is too small. We appreciate any help that we can get. With a successful transplant, he will have a chance to live, grow, and learn how all these amazing people helped him live.
Thank you so much for your time and your support.
With our deepest thanks,
Rojesh
