#RockForRay May Day Festival
Many of you may not know, but our vocalist Ray was diagnosed with cancer back in 2018. Ray and our drummer, Joe, always dreamed of starting a band and playing and creating music they loved. After beating the absolute crap out of cancer, this dream became a reality when they met X and Ryan and formed June’s Landing. After releasing singles, EPs and going on tour Coronavirus shut the bands plans down for the majority of 2020. Now in 2021, Ray’s cancer is unfortunately back. But that doesn’t mean he is letting it get in the way of making his dreams come true. On May 1st at Bourre in Atlantic City, a group of South Jersey artists will be getting together to perform and raise money for Ray’s medical expenses, lodging costs, travel expenses, and help contribute to his upcoming wedding to his beautiful fiancé. This GoFundMe will run until May 2nd, the day after the show. June’s Landing will be donating 100% of our ticket and merch sales to Ray, and vendors will be encouraged to set up donation jars and run specials where donations will be given directly to Ray. PLEASE come out and support all these locals artists on May 1st, if you’re unable to do so, any donation will help! June’s Landing and the rest of the performers are looking forward to seeing you all!
