I'm walking 30 hours (non-stop, yes) as a test for myself and a testament to global mental health. I'm currently working up to the 30-hour walk and endeavour to share my trials, tribulations, successes, and stories with you all (as best I can).

Take a Hike Foundation 
Take a Hike is a full-time alternative education program that supports vulnerable youth ages 15-18 to overcome barriers and achieve success in school and in their lives. We use the outdoors to engage students in community, school and mental health supports. Our goal is to help students build the skills and resilience they need not just to graduate, but to navigate life as they become young adults.

I volunteered in 2018 with Take a Hike in Vancouver B.C. My experience stood out and has lead me to do what I can to give back here. During the time I was living in a van, working two jobs, and still made time to volunteer (as I could) because of the impact that the program has. I had the pleasure of being a volunteer on a multi-day trip to the Stein Valley.
