Update. Maxxe tried to claim centerlink for her loss and all claims are rejected as boys where only 18 weeks so now she has nothing coming in.
Please spare what you can and share share share. Let’s get her some help with bills to take one less stress away
Hi I’m Naomi.
Last Monday started the week of heart break.
We are shattered to share that our dear coworker and friend, Maxxe, has endured the most traumatic and heartbreaking experience a mother can face. At just 18 weeks pregnant, Maxxe went through the agonizing ordeal of giving birth to her identical twin boys, Quentin and Spencer, who were born sleeping.
This devastating loss was made even harder by the trauma she endured during her time in hospital. What should have been a place of compassion became a place of pain where honesty and support were desperately needed but not given. Instead, Maxxe felt lied to, dismissed, and left to navigate the unthinkable with little care or guidance. No parent should have to carry such trauma on top of such grief.
As if this were not enough, the boys’ father has refused to contribute financially in any way, leaving Maxxe to bear the crushing weight of these costs alone. It is cruelly unfair that, in addition to losing her babies, she has been left without the support that should have been given freely and willingly.
Maxxe has made the heartbreaking decision to have Quentin and Spencer cremated, as the thought of burial is too painful for her right now. She only wants her boys to be treated with love, dignity, and care.
Her coworkers and friends have created this GoFundMe to help cover:
Cremation and memorial expenses for Quentin and Spencer
One month of living expenses so Maxxe can take the time she desperately needs to grieve and recover physically, emotionally, and mentally without the added stress of bills and work
To pay for psychologist and psychiatrist appointments as she has reached her limit for the threshold that Medicare give you as she use them earlier in the year for another huge trauma.
This tragedy comes while Maxxe and her family are still struggling through another immense battle seven months of recovery and challenges following a liver transplant that her mum received earlier in the year. The weight of all of this at once is simply soul crushing.
Though Quentin and Spencer never got to breathe a breath in the out side word, they are forever loved, cherished, and remembered. Their tiny lives, though brief, will always hold a place of honor in their mother’s Maxxe’s heart.
No donation is too small. Every dollar, every prayer, and every share helps lift some of this heavy burden from Maxxe’s shoulders. Our goal is to surround her with the compassion and support she was so cruelly denied when she needed it most.
If you’re able to contribute, we are deeply grateful. If you cannot donate, please consider sharing this page and holding Maxxe and her precious boys in your thoughts and prayers.
Thank you for helping us honor Quentin and Spencer, and for standing beside Maxxe in her darkest times.
With love,
Maxxe’s Friends & Family
