Maxwell Lee Sleightholm, Heaven's Sweetest Angel

It is with a shattered heart and the most unimaginable, deepest, darkest pain and sadness we have ever felt that we announce the tragic passing of our sweet baby boy, Max. Maxy was the most beautiful, perfect, healthy and strong baby boy. He was so loved and cherished by all who were blessed to know him. The last 2 1/2 days have been an absolute nightmare. Anyone who knows Amanda and Nate, knows in their heart that they are the most loving, devoted, and amazing parents to their boys. This devastating loss has broken their family. Although nothing we can do will ease their pain, we are setting up a fundraiser to help the Sleightholm family with funeral and memorial expenses. Please pray for them. Please keep them in your heart. They are not okay.

Max’s visitation and funeral service will be held this Thursday, January 26, at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church, 1600 Rte 291, Liberty, MO if you would like to attend. Visitation will be held from 10-11:30 with the funeral service from 11:30-12:30. Burial will follow at Terrace Park Cemetery, 801 NW 108th St., Kansas City, MO 64155. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Max’s name to Children’s Mercy Hospital.
