Maxwell James Mayling Memorial Fund

Hi there. I'm Diana, a long time forever friend of Maxwell (James) and his family. Very recently James had been out on a walk about (hiking) in the mountains anď went missing. Unfortunately, James had an accident and very sadly succumbed to his injuries. He leaves to mourn his wife,sons,extended family and friends.

To help with the financial hill that his family is and will be facing, James' sister inlaw, another forever friend Tams and I decided to do this fundraiser. Memorial Donations in lieu of flowers can be sent to this GoFundMe to help with the immediate and future expenses of raising his minor sons and a trust fund will be set up at a later date.

For those who were fortunate to have met him, served with him (CAF for many years and was last with the Princess Patricia Canadian Light Infantry Tow Platoon)and worked with, or were forever friends with, you knew the type of man James (Max)was. For those that didn't get the chance to meet him but may know his family or his friends, I will tell you about him!

He was a loving husband, an amazing dad.

His loss is very devastating and profound to his family and friends. He was a kind and generous person, was good to his friends and strangers alike, and would go out of his way to help anyone in need.

Although he was quiet in his way and demeanor, he was loud in his actions and in the way he loved his family and friends. He made an impact on everyone he met.

James was loved and will be dearly missed by too many people to mention. May he rest in Peace.
