In Honour of Max Webb – Supporting Men’s Mental Health
In 2020, we lost Max Webb—a son, a brother, a dog Dad to Rio, a friend, a teammate, and an all-around incredible person. Max was known for his infectious energy, his love for football, and his ability to lift the spirits of everyone around him. Though he is no longer with us, his memory continues to inspire us to support one another, especially when it comes to men’s mental health.
This year, we are coming together in Max’s honour to raise money for Brawd, a mental health charity dedicated to supporting men’s wellbeing through positive engagement.
Join Us for the Max Webb Memorial Tournament & Fundraiser
On Sunday, 9th March, at 9 AM, we will kick off a 5-a-side football tournament at Cardiff City Leckwith, where 12 teams will compete for the Max Webb Trophy. (Organised by Pete Fordham). This is more than just a game—it’s a chance to come together, celebrate Max’s love for football, and raise awareness for a cause that affects so many.
After the tournament, the day continues at View 62, where we’ll be celebrating Max with some of his favourite things:
- Pool competitions
- Karaoke
- Live music
- Amazing prices to be won
This is a pay-as-you-feel event, with a minimum donation of £5 per person, which must be paid through this GoFundMe link to secure your ticket.
Why This Matters

Let’s make this an unforgettable day—one that Max would have loved—and, more importantly, one that makes a real difference.
