Hi Friends,

My name is Max, if you don't know me I own a food truck that just launched this year. I am asking for help repairing my truck which was badly damaged in a fire this past weekend. I'm extremely thankful that everyone is safe and that there were no injuries from the fire, however, this unfortunate turn of events was so unexpected and could possibly be detrimental to the life of the business. Those of you who know me know just how much this thing means to me, and just how long the journey has been getting to this point. I've put every bit of my heart into building this business from the ground up and trying to create something bigger than myself to be shared amongst the community and my loved ones. Years of hard work went into creating this truck and now before we've truly even gotten started, I've been thrown a massive curveball in the form of a structure fire as a result of a manufacturer defect that is going to require serious renovation to recover from. The fire damaged a significant portion of the frame of the truck so it will essentially have to be gutted and partially rebuilt. Insurance is not going to help at all and I could use all the assistance I can get. I'm busting my ass working on every possible avenue to generate capital but I am one person and this entire venture has always been self-funded. I realize times are tough and I hate to even be in this position asking for help but I'm only here because I truly need it. If I've ever had the chance to serve you food or have a positive impact on you in any way and you're able to give anything at all...just know that I appreciate it from the bottom of my heart and you're helping to keep the dream alive. I want to change the world one day and this food truck is just one little piece of the puzzle. By donating, you will be helping us get back on the road to making a difference.

We were just starting to catch some traction and I refuse to give up on it. We will rebuild from this. We will be back better and stronger, ready to take it to the next level. The past 8 months have been an amazing learning experience that has introduced me to so many wonderful people and it makes me happy to see the little community we've built in such a short period of time. The support I've witnessed is incredibly humbling and inspiring and it only motivates me to keep this thing growing. I can't wait til this is all behind us and we can get back to serving ya'll.
