Max has been having seizures for almost four years now and we have started phase one of surgery. He has been hospitalized so many times throughout his little life. He has had a rough journey since being diagnosed with epilepsy but has always been brave throughout every hospitalization, bloodwork, and countless medication changes. In February Max was hospitalized and diagnosed with Mesial Temporal Lobe Sclerosis, which is scarring on his left temporal lobe. Since this diagnosis we have been put on a fast track to getting him ready for surgery. Starting this surgery process means multiple appointments most of which we already have scheduled in the next couple of weeks. We will have to take off work not only for his surgery but for all of these appointments. We are unsure what the next few weeks or months will look like and are asking if you can help us out.
