Dear Friends,
Like you all know, since we rescued Max two weeks after he was born, he has been our loving child. This week has been very hard for our little boy. In four days he had to get two procedures done at the vet. He first went in to get a few teeth taken out. However, when he got home after the surgery, he was not doing so well. We thought it was just after effects of the surgery and medicine. After a very terrible night where he threw up fourteen times, we decided to take him to the vet first thing in the morning.
After some x-rays and more testing we learned that he had bladder and kidney stones, as well as stones in his urethra. He went to surgery right away. After four stones removed from his bladder, he is doing a lot better, but he still has four other stones. He stayed there for a few nights. We finally got him back on Friday, and he is surrounded by love, and recovering very quickly.
However, he still has two more visits, because of the leftover stones. Times are hard and we never ask for this, as these are unprecedented times, please keep Maxi in your prayers. If you could also spare any extra funds to help us in this dire situation and help Maxi get better, we would appreciate all the help we can get.
With all our love,
Max’s Family
