Hi, my name is Jennifer Sedlock. With a heavy heart, I am setting up this Memorial Fund in memory of Maximillion Wood. Maximillion is the 4 yr old son of Andrew and Rusti Wood of Indianola, Iowa. Unfortunately, his life was cut tragically short on Friday, July 15, 2022, when a tree broke and fell on him while he and his family were out of state. The Wood family is a large part of our Indianola Community. They are a large family with 7 children ranging from one in their 20s to almost 2 years old. The oldest is in the Navy, while they have 2 girls in middle school and 2 boys at Irving Elementary. Maximillion would have started kindergarten this year. He loved to share with others the fun adventures he had been on, the artwork he created, and anything else he felt was exciting. He had a love for animals and soccer. His greatest joy, though, was his family. He looked up to his siblings and parents. Maximillion had a sweet smile and laugh that was so infectious. Andrew and Rusti are well known in our community as they are active leaders in Cub Scouts, Girl Scouts, Coach Soccer, and members of the St. Thomas Aquinas Church. Andrew is a retired Navy Veteran, and Rusti, you may have seen around organizing events for The Outside Scoop. I would love for our community to rally around this family and help support them in every way possible. Any monetary donation will help with funeral expenses and getting Maximillion and the rest of the family back to Iowa as they navigate this loss.
