Maximilliano (Max)

My name is Karli Fletcher. Our 2 year old Pitbull Max was found at 5am this morning with multiple wounds & bleeding out. As of right now we are being told that these are not from animal bites that they are too clean & look like stab wounds. So he was attacked by another human being. He is currently at the emergency vet & Max’s wounds were to the extent where he needed surgery to actually open the wounds & see how deep they are & how bad. They found a hole on each rib cage & a 2 inch gapping hole on his chest that he is consistently bleeding out of which is a big concern. As of now he now has over 9 holes in his upper chest/torso region. He was & still is on a 72 hour hold. They said his pain was so bad that they have him on pain medication as well as fentanyl. After the surgery we got a call that Max is has blood clotting on all wounds & is now showing signs of sepsis & he has little to none circulation on his left upper leg. He will not even attempt to walk. Doctor is looking at now a week plus atleast stay at the moment & a possible loss of a leg.. She said this price is gonna be outrageous with sepsis & a amputation. She recommends if we can’t afford it to put out 2 year old pup down he’s so sweet, loving & amazing. He loves running at the speed of lighting & his pickle squeak toy from Chewy. We love this dog. He was a rescue we got a 9 months old due to being abandoned in Illinois & brought to Warsaw, Indiana. Please help us save our doggy please.. God bless all of you.
