Help support Maximilian Bollags family

It has now been a month since my brother Maximilian Bollag walked among us, sharing his smile, energy and love. This has been a heart-wrenching journey through mourning and grief. We wake every day to realize that he is gone from our 3D existence.

Anyone who knew him knows the love and perspective we miss from Max. His great taste in food, music and style. His full attention, focus, engagement and caring and playful way. His sweet smile, his gentle but big laugh, his wild ideas and incredible knowledge.

For my parents, it's much more. He was a constant presence that graced them, for he never moved far from being able to see them weekly, share meals and company. There is now a massive hole in our lives, and everything feels out of balance.

In the midst of their grieving, my parents are also facing the financial burden of burial costs and fulfilling Max’s lease through July, as my mother was his co-signer and the landlord is unwilling to negotiate, regardless of the circumstances. The funds raised in this campaign will help them shoulder these unexpected expenses and allow them to focus on healing from this unimaginable loss.

We have been so blessed with community that has shown up for us in many different ways, keeping our spirits up in these dark times. Thank you for the light and love. It takes a Village.
