Maxie's Health Needs Urgent Attention

Hello! I'm Alex aka Sunflower Punk and this is for my cat Maxie.

Maxie is 12 years old. He's been my son for almost 9 years. He'll be 13 in July.

Maxie needs some blood work. He just had x-rays done which show he has osteoarthritis. But his kidneys show some masses which could be cysts or calcium deposits. He already eats a prescription food for renal disease.

The X-rays showed his lungs are inflamed too. So the blood work will tell us a few things hopefully.

I could only get the X-rays done with donations and so I'm back asking for more help.

I'm aiming a bit high cuz I don't know if he'll need medication or maybe surgery. I'll keep updating this space as necessary.

Maxie is my ESA or emotional support animal. He's been with me thru a divorce and homelessness because of that divorce. He's not just a cat, he's my son.

And I want whatever time we have left to be as healthy and enjoyable as possible.

Any help you can provide is greatly appreciated.
