On the night of 2/18/20, Our Son Maxwell's beloved trumpet was stolen during a night of brazen robberies that struck several households in his neighborhood as well as two other Pelham neighborhoods. Replacing his $1500.00 trumpet not including the case, his mute, several different mouth pieces, etc. is not something we can afford for some time to come. Max has worked and practiced and poured every ounce of energy into playing trumpet on an elite level. It has been his dream to tour with Drum Corp International.  He's been diligently practicing everyday for months and after multiple layers of try-outs he has been awarded a contract with the Music City Drum Corp for this summer's 2020 season’s tour. It is a dream come true! Being accepted into DCI is an enormous honor. Touring with DCI is expensive. Maxwell is self-funding it with money he earned working his tail off washing semi trucks last summer, which meant getting up at 5:30 am and working until sometimes 7 pm and after that he would still practice after getting home. He's saved every penny of his earnings for this dream. He has also been appointed to play in the University of Montevallo's honor band with a performance coming very soon. We are reaching out to see if we can help Maxwell replace his trumpet and necessary equipment so he can realize his dream of performing and touring with the Music City Drum Corp this summer.  Any amount of help will be greatly appreciated and will go 100% to replacing Maxwell's trumpet.
