Max's Discipleship Training School

Hello! My name is Max Van Loan. I graduated from San Dieguito Academy in the class of 2018 and have decided to do something a little different with my plans after high school. In the Summer of 2017 I felt God’s call on my life to take a year in between high school and college to go serve and see the world. My family and I have spent the last year figuring out a way to make this happen, and God showed us the way.

YWAM(Youth With A Mission) is an organization that trains youth with the purpose of knowing Jesus and making Him known to others. For 3 months I will train to be a disciple to others, and then for 3 more months I will be sent out to a foreign country to go preach the gospel and serve people in need. My goal for this experience is to broaden my perspective on the world and develop a heart for serving others

In total, this program will cost about $10,000. My parents have generously agreed to match whatever I raise, so my target is $5,000. I have been working all Summer to get to this goal, but I still need the help of others to get me to YWAM. Thank you all in advance for any donations towards my cause.
