Max Trainer Breast Cancer Fund

Donation protected

Help us help Maxine! Our most beautiful and dear friend, Maxine Trainer, has recently been diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer.  She has been a little quiet about this. Maxine has given of herself, unconditionally, through her art to our children, to our families, to our communities, to our fur-babies, and to each and every one of us, in her own special way.  She does this with so much love and magic.  Maxine is very sick now and needs our help. Please join us as we help her fight this fight, the fight of her life.  We love her and we want her well.

Maxine is an internationally renowned artist from England.  She currently co-resides in Titusville and Islamorada, Florida.  Maxine is known as an artist, teacher, and animal rights activist.  She supports cultural diversity and social awareness.  She has the unique gift of bringing the arts to all. Maxine is an advocate for animal rights, and has recently created a new exhibit called "Rescue is the New Purebreed."  A portion of all proceeds from each piece sold goes to various animal rescues throughout the state of Florida.

Maxine’s dream came true this year.  Out of a zero budget and a lot of help from her friends and community, her first tiny house rescue art exhibit was created. The tiny house made its maiden voyage last month from North Brevard Art in the Garden to Fox Lake in Titusville, for its very first art show.  Within weeks, Maxine opened "In the Doghouse," located in the Village Square, at the Trading Post in Islamorada, where her rescue art is currently on display and for sale.

Here in Brevard county, on a beautiful piece of property in North Titusville, also known as “The Magic Garden,”  is where Maxine Trainer co-resides.  On this property, is one of the oldest schoolhouses in the state of Florida.  Here, Maxine runs her beloved children’s program, North Brevard Art in the Garden.  The garden is a safe, creative environment where all kids can develop their talents, skills, and dreams. It is a place where creative entrepreneurial leadership qualities are encouraged and self-confidence can bloom.

Maxine Trainer was awarded the Best Educator of the Year, Everyday Hero, by Central Florida’s News Channel 13.

Sadly, last year during Hurricane Irma, North Brevard Art in the Gardens property was nearly destroyed and the schoolhouse lost all the children’s supplies. Maxine is still trying to dig her way out from that disaster.

Maxine has gifted us all with so much of herself. In spite of her recent stage 3 breast cancer diagnosis, she continues to give freely of herself.  We love Maxine. Please help us help Maxine meet her medical and financial needs.  We have a goal of $50,000. Help us keep the magic going and meet that goal.  Here are some of the ways you can help:
