Hi, my name is Max, and I’m a trans teen from Ohio. I came out four years ago to a supportive family and have been living as Max ever since. I’m out at school, go by he/him, and started testosterone a year ago. I also legally changed my name to Maxamillian recently. Each of these steps has helped me live more authentically, but top surgery is an essential next-step for my mental and physical well-being.

As a member of my school's marching band and a future music teacher, I want to be fully comfortable with the physical side of band and my daily life. Unfortunately, with the political climate, I'm unable to get care in my state at my age and I worry about losing access to gender-affirming care by the time I turn 18.
