Max the 4 year old Maltese needs new hips and leg surgery

Hi!!

My name is Max,

I am a 4 year old Maltese who loves running around, chasing a ball and playing with my human siblings!!

Unfortunately, I was born with bad hips and knees which have been causing me a lot of pain. I am now at the point where I am in too much pain for painkillers to work.

Yesterday I injured myself and my parents have been advised, I will now most likely not be able to put pressure on my back left leg until I have surgery.

Sadly, my case is very complex and its looking like I will need a full hip replacement and an operation on both my back legs.

Mum and dad have insurance and they will hopefully cover 80% of the costs but theres still the other 20% they have to come up with plus the cost of scans.

Mum and dad have been provided with surgery estimates totalling $30,000 plus costs for scans and anasthesia.

I have already had scans done but need more at the end of May to confirm exactly what my surgery needs are. These scans alone will cost $2000 (hopefully insurance will cover most of this)

We wanted to see if anyone would help us get me the surgery I need to live a long and happy life and stay with my human people a bit longer.
