Max Rozmiarek

Hi everyone my name is Dana Henning and I’m doing this fundraiser in behalf of Dean and Becky Rozmiarek while they stay with Max. On the morning on May 3rd 2023 Max had an accident at work and took a hard hit to his head, which resulted in him being flown to Green Bay for emergency surgery. One surgery was to repair the huge gash on his head and the second surgery that day, was to take the pieces of his skull that were floating around out, and place the skull back with metal plates. Max did suffer a seizure and now is at higher risk for them in the future. Through all this he had remained unresponsive and had to intubate him and paralyze him. The doctor did say that his left side of his body seems to be paralyzed because he did take the hit to his right side of his head. After surgery the doctor said that the bones in the right side of his face needed to be repaired or the fluid from his brain could leak behind his sinus cavity. So in order to have that surgery he had to be flown to Milwaukee to see a surgeon who could handle that part of the surgery. In Milwuakee the first doctor Max seen was an Ophthalmologist to check on his eyesight. As of right now it is to soon to tell if he has lost any eyesight and will not know until he is awake to tell us if he can see out of his eye or has headaches. Right now we are waiting to see how and if he has any swelling. Day 3 and 4 will be the worst days for him to conquer for brain swelling. Max has a serious brain injury and needs all the prayers from all of his loved ones as he fights. This is going to be a very expensive and long journey and his family needs to be there with him. With Dean and Becky not able to work they will have bills stacking up. This could take a year if he wakes up from the sedation and i'm asking everyone to rally around this family and show them love, kindess and help any way you can.
