Max had a guest appearance at Poole on Wednesday 3rd July. Unfortunately he was involved in a nasty crash.

Not only did Max receive an Injury but his bike was very badly damaged.

As Max only races in the National Development League now, we just don't have the funds to cover the amount of damage that was received.

On investigation Max will need a new race helmet and a new neckbrace. His bike will need a new exhaust and new diamond. The front forks and the front wheel will need to be straighten (hopefully!)

We did think that the diamond could be straighten too but its showing signs of stress cracks. The seat base has snapped and will need replacing.

The engine has to be sent to Peter Johns for checking. The force of the impact tore the carburetor completely off which exposed the engine to the dirt/shale from the track when it hit the ground. We have actually no idea how much damage has happened and that alone could prove extremely costly.

We wouldn't normally ask for help, and feel quite embarrassed in asking but with recent events, we just dont have the amount that is needed. We are still shocked in the amount of damage that has been sustained, but if you watch the video of the crash you can see why there is so much damage. Any help from anyone would be so grateful received and would make a massive difference to us.
