Max Needs Your Help After Being Shot

‼️‼️‼️TRIGGER WARNING‼️‼️‼️
Hello everyone, this past Tuesday our family dog Max was shot in the nose by an unidentified male. Our dog’s breed is a pitbull mix. He is energetic, playful, and is curious by nature. We found max as a puppy abandoned in a dumpster in Virginia. We cherish him a lot and he is considered a part of the family. To clarify about this incident, we live in a small duplex off a neighborhood street. Our duplex does not have a backyard so we walk him on a leash or tie him to the rails on the front porch stairs to pee in the grass next to the house. He has a lot of zoomies because we live in a small space. In September, i suffered major injuries from a bad car accident along with two of my children. I had to get multiple heart surgeries and heal my arm and leg. I lost my job due to the accident and I am still recovering from the crash. I am unable to restrain or pick up our dog max. It is hard to restrain the dog away from our screen door whenever I need to leave the house. We usually tie max to a leash to go pee or leave in our bedroom when we have to open the door. On Tuesday, I had max tied to the house to go pee and he broke away from his collar. Max was only gone for five minutes and he came back home with a bloody face and a gunshot wound in his nose. According to our neighbor, he witnessed the person with a firearm shoot at our dog’s head. Everything happened so fast, I am devastated that this happened to our family dog.
