Max Julien Relief Fund
On Saturday night (7/3) Max had an accident where he slipped down a set of concrete stairs at night. His friends brought him to urgent care thinking he had a concussion and needed stitches. It was there that they realized he had suffered a large fracture to his skull and a brain bleed. He was rushed via ambulance to Memorial Hospital in South Bend, Indiana and admitted into the ICU for scans and testing. On Monday he underwent a successful Craniotomy to relieve the pressure to his brain. Max has been in the ICU since his surgery where he is being monitored and treated with antibiotics and pain medicine. Cognitively he is doing remarkable along with full mobility in all limbs. It will be a long road to recovery that will include further hospital stay, therapy, and follow up visits. We cannot thank the medical staff at Memorial Hospital enough for their efforts thus far and continued efforts towards Max's recovery. They have been so kind, patient, and accommodating with us during this unimaginable time. Max is young and strong and we're confident he will be making a full recovery.
Thank you so much for your continued support, love, and prayers. Unfortunately, the medical bills will be extreme for the treatment he's receiving, so we've set up this Go Fund Me to ease some of the financial burden he is going to bare. Every little bit help and even if you can't donate, a share helps us reach our goal.
