Max Hay Memorial and Scholarship Fund
Max Hay passed away July 14, 2020 in a tragic diving accident while enjoying summer with friends on the Snoqualmie river. Max played hockey for Sno-King Amateur Hockey Association for several years as an exciting, dynamic and popular goalie - he was always a beloved teammate.
Max attended Liberty High School where he played on the Varsity Lacrosse team. This fundraiser has been created to honor Max with a memorial bench for one of the Sno-King arenas - a place to reflect and remember Max and the joy he brought to all those who knew him. In addition, this fund will start an annual $500 scholarship for players (especially goalies) with financial need.
An application process and eligibility for the scholarship is in the planning stage. This fundraiser will cover the first 3 years of the scholarship and the bench and plaque. Funds raised over the goal will contribute to the scholarship for additional years.
Thank you for your kind and generous contributions.
