Max Has Critical Needs

You might recognize the iconic style of Max's drawing featured in the picture here. Max drew that for Pat LaMarche (you also see the resemblence!). With just a few pen strokes, Max captured an image that Pat was able to use to help with important messaging about homelessness, inclusion, caring. That's something Max has been doing for other people - without asking anything in return - for decades.

If you know Max because you work at the Carlisle Theater, have volunteered for the borough or the county, go to his church, run a non-profit, or reach out to help others - you don't need us to tall you any of this.

Max is a poor kid from an impoverished but hard working family. Poverty is generational like that. And Max has struggled to get by. Max has been challenged by houselessness and health issues - but never like now.

Max is experiencing some life threatening challenges and just like when we've needed Max to help us - Max needs us.

Whatever you can give - will be an enormous help. Max is in the hospital right now. We hope to have him out sometime at the end of next week when he's stablized. He'll need equipment and other things not covered by insurance. And he's unable to work his temp job - so he'll have no income until he's healthier and working again.

Thanks for your love and support. You know he appreciates you. He has for decades. And he's selflessly helped all of us when we needed it.
