Hi it's Sharon, on behalf of myself and my Mum Ann we would like support to raise money to have a bench installed at the Woodbridge Oval in Dads honour.

The council are charging $2500 to allow us to have it placed there.

I know many of you loved my Dad and it's an honour in my heart to know this ♥️

If anymore is raised a plaque will be purchased on the wall when built at Potters Corner Park Woodbridge.

For those who didn't know my Dad he lived opposite the Woodbridge Oval for over 60 years. Here he watched the cricket in his later years. He was always stirring the cricketers and was only angry if the other team hit his house with a cricket ball. The cricket club also gave Dad a guard of honour on his departure.

He worked at the local school for nearly 30 years where he saw generations of children pass through.

He also had a shack at Verona Sands for 40 years where he was nicknamed "The Lord Mayor"

Dad was a true loyal larrikin loved by all who met him.
