Max & Ella’s skydive for the Walton Centre

Hi, we are going to be doing a skydive on the 5th August 2023 to try and raise money for the Walton Centre.
Recently, someone very close to our hearts was diagnosed with a rare condition called NMO (Neuromyelitis Optica). This is a neurological disorder where the body attacks itself and primarily affects eyesight and the spinal cord.
This is a lifelong condition with no cure and due to it being so rare, there is very little research and funding to help people living with this condition.

Last year, after lots of long stays in hospitals and countless tests, Georgia was diagnosed with NMO. She has lost a significant amount of her eyesight, has numbness in her arms and legs and has constant pins and needles throughout her body. This disorder means Georgia is at risk of unpredictable attacks which means when she next has an attack we don't know what the effects on her will be. Georgia's life has changed massively as a result of this and she is working hard to adapt to her new life and prepare for how it will be in the future.

The Walton Centre is a charity which supports people like Georgia living with neurological conditions including NMO and in our opinion does an amazing job where other hospitals don't have the facilities or staff to do so.

We really want to help the Walton Centre in any way we can and more importantly raise awareness of NMO to help Georgia and others going through the same experience.
We would greatly appreciate any donation that you would be able to give. Please help us to make a difference!
Thank you,
Ella and Max xxx
