max brown's life tips

life tip #10.  spend as much time with your children as possible because you will only have them for so long.

on july 23, 2018 my entire world blew up when my oldest son, max, tragically passed away at the age of 19.

max believed in kindness, non-judgement, inclusion and love. he was a quiet leader on and off the basketball court and his jersey number - 22 - came to represent max's character, positive attitude and compassion toward others.

at his funeral, max's grandfather read a list of 62 life tips that max wrote when he was 10 years old.

my wish is that i can raise enough money to create new merchandise for my on-line store, alex & asher.  the "life tips collection" will feature max's insightful life tips on t-shirts, posters and art prints, as well as a book which will include each life tip with one of my original illustrations.

#3. always follow your dream no matter what anyone says.

this go fund me is not just about a girl following her dream, but a mother healing her broken heart,  and with a little help from you and my angel boy above... it's about all of us changing the world - one life tip at a time.

last summer i lost my son. this summer i launched a kickstarter campaign in an attempt to expand my business, alex & asher.  to include the max brown's life tips collection. unfortunately, my fund raising goal was not met and my kickstarter campaign was considered unsuccessful. since kickstarter is all or nothing, i will NOT receive any of the generous pledges i was able to raise.

welcome to my plan B.

this project means everything to me, it’s how the memory of my son will live on and how he can still change the world, just like he always wanted.  i have experienced one of the greatest losses a mother can, yet stand here today as a symbol of the resilience we all have inside of us. i am here to show what a true warrior queen is capable of - perseverance and above all else, hope.  for the sake of my younger son, mason, and for the others who love me - i fight every day not to give up and know i have a life worth living where the sun will shine once again.

i have created a go fund me page now in hopes that i may raise enough money to keep this project alive, even if it has to be my side gig. ( you can read my entire business proposal here on my kickstarter page. )

it is my mission for alex & asher. to be a vehicle for max's message and memory. you will be amazed at the things we do and the lives we change.  i won't give up.  your contribution will help launch this project and help a grieving mother who could use all the support she can get.

thank you all. 22love. tracie brown.
