Max Bovard Surgery and Recovery Fund

Donation protected
It has been a rough time for a very dear family of the Mt Vernon community.  Max Bovard is a sophomore at Mt Vernon.  Christy is a bus driver for the school system as well.  Max suffered a broken neck last night while diving into a pool.  Today, Max is in the best hands with one of the best neurosurgeons in the country.  That being said, the Bovards will have a unsermountable amount of hospital bills in the next few days and weeks to come.  They are insured, but nothing makes you plan for a situation like this.  If you are able to make a donation it will be greatly appreciated.  Mark, Christy, Maddie, Avery, Peyton and Max greatly appreciate all your support and prayers during this time!

From Christy:
Been a rough night/morning, Friday around 8pm Max drove into a pool and broke his neck at the 6 vertebrae and bruised his spinal cord. Update on Max, he just went back for surgery they will be removing his C6 vertebrae and replacing it with a plastic one and then fusing all the vertebrae’s together, he also has a very bruised spinal cord and the four vertebrae underneath the six are also somewhat damaged. He’ll be in surgery for the next 90 minutes to 3 hours they said. Thank you all for your prayers text and calls we all appreciate it it means the world to us. I will update when he gets out of surgery
