Max Barrington - Charleston Colonials
Maxwell Barrington is a 16-year old NextGEN Student-Athlete from Miami Florida. He started skating when he was 4 and a half and has loved being on the ice ever since.

He made his first travel team at age 7 and went on to represent the state of Florida on the ’03 Alliance AAA team at the age of 10. The Florida Alliance team is comprised of the top players in the state born in Maxwell’s birth year. He also made Junior Varsity as a freshman and played in the state finals.
After playing on the AAA and Junior Varsity level in Florida, Maxwell was offered the chance to play junior level youth hockey with the Charleston Colonials. The Colonials play in the premier division of the USPHL.
Hockey is integral to Maxwell’s life. Since being diagnosed with Tourette’s Syndrome at age 6, Maxwell has found refuge in hockey and has excelled at the sport. Not only does he love to play, but hockey keeps Maxwell’s life in harmony and balance
Our mission at NextGEN is to help Maxwell attain the highest level he can reach in both hockey and academics. We believe playing on the Charlestown Colonial will be part of that process. The typical Colonial's tuition with billeting is close to $15,000. Help us reach our goal of raising $7,000 for Maxwell's tuition and hockey expenses.
NextGEN AAA Foundation is a registered 501-(c)3 non-profit organization. All donations from this campaign will go directly to Maxwell's tuition and are tax-deductible.
