I just wanted to add a HUGE Thankyou to everyone for all the help we have received thus far. If there are any funds left over after we have paid the vet bill and the funeral company ,I will put them aside incase kylah May one day like another horse once she has recovered. Thank you so much ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Hello my name is Sharon. The young lady in the picture is my daughter kylah. Those beautiful boys you see her holding both died tragically 5 days apart due to Rye grass poisoning.
My daughter has been riding since she was 4 years old. She has always had an amazing way with animals. When she was 12 years old we purchased Max a standardbred who had been retired from racing. Max had at one stage been abused by one of his trainers and didn’t like men. Kylah worked with him for many years to gain his trust. In return he gave his best to her and became the love of her life. Together they won many championships and he was so loved by everyone. She retired him a few years ago to be a “ paddock puff “ to live out his days in luxury. She purchased Henry to provide max with companionship and to be her ridden horse. He was only young 6 years old. Over the next couple years she worked him slowly allowing him to mature and grow.
One week ago both boys bled to death due to poisoning in their hay ( although we purchased tested hay that was supposed to be safe ) my daughter although young ( working full time with horses ) tried everything to save them with the help of ascot equine vets. In the end nothing could save my daughters beautiful boys and her now broken heart. She had to witness her heart horses bleed to death due to someone else’s ignorance. She now has a huge vet bill and no horses. If you can spare even a dollar it would be much appreciated. My heart breaks for her. All I would like is to ease her burden just a little
