I am Vicky, and I am starting this fundraiser on behalf of the Dalgo/Juneau families

We raising money to help cover the funeral expenses for Billy, Mike Jr., Deana, Jenny, and Bobby’s grandmother, Mamie Juneau.

Mamie Mary Dalgo Juneau passed away at the age of 91 on March 26, 2023.

Born July 13, 1931, she went on to have two children: Gary Juneau and the late Michael Juneau Sr., who died in 2021. Gary lives in a nursing-home facility due to strokes that left him unable to care for himself.

Mamie lost her spouse in 1983 and has lived off the bare minimum her entire life after losing everything. She did manage to maintain her burial plot and a life-insurance policy totaling $5,300.

We are requesting financial help to cover the remainder of basic arrangements to give Mamie a dignified burial to honor her wishes, with the plot already paid for. The bare-minimum cost is running almost $9,000; not including getting her a headstone.

The family found a local funeral home that is the most cost-efficient. Their total cost is about $7500. This amount covers funeral services and staff, embalming, cosmetics, equipment use, a white casket, transfer of remains from residence to funeral home, hearse, transfer to church/cemetery, installation of vault along with grave opening and closing, and three copies of the death certificate. It also covers prayer cards, a crucifix for Mamie’s casket, a sign-in book for visitors, and the spray of flowers for her casket.

The hall/church rental for visitation and mass is $400 (including donation to church) For the gathering post-burial the cost is $300.

The remaining funds will be used to cover the cost of the obituary ($500 for one day), and a small portion will be set aside to purchase a headstone. These run around $800 at minimum. We are waiting on the price selection for that.
