Mav's Movember Fundraiser

On the 5th of November 2023 I will be shaving my beard and sporting a Moustache for the remainder of the month, in order to create awareness for Mens Mental Health and raise funds for a close family friend and their ongoing recovery and medical bills.

Men's mental health is still something barely spoken about in todays society, yet 1 in 8 Men in Australia suffer from some form of mental health problem such as anxiety or depression. Many of those who suffer will never reach out at all, whether they need serious help, or just someone to listen as its considered "weak". In 2022 there were 3249 suicides in Australia alone, with the number of men being 3x the number of women.

I will be holding a $10 ticketed event at the Harbour Sports Bar and Grill on Sunday 05/11 with all proceeds going to the cause as well. There will be live music on the dock, good vibes, great food and $7 drinks available all night. Details of the event will be posted to the Harbour's FB page so stay tuned.
