Hello! A little bit about Maverick… he has been in the hillsborough county mounted unit, therapy horse for many years, taught young kids how to love & respect and part of a non-profit program for the last 2 years. Recently we discovered he has an infection called “fistulous withers” & very hard bacteria to cure. This infection is quick moving. Maverick has received 2 surgeries where they went in and took out all of the infected tissue and bone. Now he has on a medication that can only be done through IV treatment. He is such a big part of the community & kids lives… every donation is appreciated ❤️ i will update you daily!!
